Dear Birthmother
First, we want to say thank you for taking the time to read this letter. We can only imagine the weight of the decision you are facing, and we want you to know our hearts are filled with deep respect and gratitude for you. We hope that through this letter, you can get a sense of who we are and the life we are ready to offer a child.
We have always known we wanted to be parents. Over the years, our journey to parenthood has been different than we imagined. We have been through years of fertility struggles. We tried everything, but through it all, we’ve realized the most important thing to us is creating a family—one filled with love, patience, and understanding—no matter how that happens. We truly believe being a parent means more than just providing for a child. It’s about being present, listening, supporting them, and creating a safe environment. We value kindness, empathy, and honesty, and we want to instill these qualities in our child.
If we are fortunate to become parents to your child, we promise they will always be cherished, respected, and loved unconditionally. We are ready to create a home filled with laughter, adventure, and support. We understand this is an incredibly personal decision. If you decide we could be the family for your child, we can connect more and share more about our lives. If not, we truly wish you peace and strength.

Our Home

Our home is a cozy, two-story house filled with sunlight and warmth. We have a large living room, where we love to gather for family movie nights, and a spacious backyard with an inground pool. We love to host parties for the family in the summer and BBQ in our outdoor kitchen. We currently have two dogs, Daisy who is a five-year-old pitbull and Diesel who is a one-year-old pitbull. We love to rescue. One of our favorite things about the neighborhood is that Jon's parents also live here. We live in a close-knit community, so when shopping at the local Food Lion, you always run into someone you know.
Our Family

Ashley has one sister and two brothers. Between her siblings, we have one niece and four nephews. Jon has one brother, who has two sons. Our nephews and niece range in age from two years old to 21 years old. Ashley’s father lives 15 minutes away and her mother three hours away. Jon’s parents live two minutes away. Jon has 11 cousins who live throughout the U.S., and Ashley has six.
We do family dinners on Sunday evenings at least once every other week with Ashley’s dad, Jon’s parents, and his brother, his wife, and their two boys. Every July we do a family beach trip with Ashley’s mother and her siblings and their kids. When we visit her brothers, who live in the same town as her mom, we love to go to the lake house that her brother has and go out on the boat.
