Dear Birthmother
Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. We cannot imagine how difficult this decision is, but please know you are a miracle to our family. Building a family together has always been our dream, and through adoption and your courage, we are excited to make this a reality.
We promise to love your child unconditionally and provide them with security, stability, acceptance, experiences, adventures, and endless laughter and joy. CJ looks forward to sharing the wonders of the world through family travels, encouraging them to try new activities, and teaching them to appreciate life’s simple joys. He hopes to instill a love for community, nurture their friendships, and even join in on the occasional snack raid. Casey is excited to share his love of history, teach them the joy of cooking, pass down family recipes, support their interests, and bring plenty of laughter with his collection of dad jokes.
We are committed to respecting and supporting you throughout this journey and are open to fostering a relationship between you and your child in a way that enriches their life. Your selflessness and courage inspire us, and we cannot thank you enough for the gift you are considering. Adoption is opening a door to an incredible opportunity, and we are deeply grateful for the chance to grow our family through your kindness.
Our Home

We live in a fairly new area of our typical Midwest city, just outside of downtown and a short walk to a local playground and school. If you are up for a short commute in any direction, you will find numerous parks, trails, restaurants, museums, and shops to explore. If you want to stay close, our neighborhood is filled with young and diverse families, with kids always outside playing. Our home is a spacious three-bedroom/two-bathroom home with a fenced back yard. It is the home we have built for ourselves and our future family; our two animated black cats (or voids as we call them), Sterling and Gracie; and our goldendoodle, Max (a trained therapy dog), whom we were fortunate to adopt from a local non-profit.
Our Family

Family, both natural and chosen, means everything to us. Growing up in large families and building a chosen family filled our lives with love and support. CJ grew up baking holiday treats with his mom, a tradition he still carries on today. For Casey, holidays meant everyone coming home, no matter what, and eating together as a family. As we built our home, we ensured the dinner table remained a focal point to continue these cherished moments.
Daily traditions, like family breakfasts, were also important. CJ’s dad always said, “You can’t focus on an empty stomach,” a sentiment we hold dear. These traditions have shaped who we are, and we plan to share them, while creating new ones, with your child.
We love Christmas and want it to be a magical time filled with warmth and togetherness. Our traditions include decorating, holiday music, looking at lights, and enjoying hot chocolate. Christmas Eve will be spent in pajamas, watching holiday movies, and opening one special gift. We believe traditions like these will fill your child with love, joy, and lasting memories they can carry with them for a lifetime.
