Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

As we sit down to write this letter, we can’t help but be filled with so much gratitude and anticipation. We want to start by expressing our deepest thanks for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your child. We understand the gravity of the decision you're facing, and we sincerely admire your strength and courage.

We understand this may be a time of uncertainty and difficult choices, but we want you to know you’re not alone and that we hold immense respect for the journey you’re on and the choices you’re making.

We dream of providing a safe, nurturing, and loving home where your child can thrive and grow into the incredible person they are meant to be. We promise to honor and cherish the unique bond between you and your baby and are fully committed to providing them with endless opportunities to explore, learn, and pursue their dreams. We can guarantee you they’ll be surrounded by love from the moment they enter our lives, and we’ll always celebrate the beautiful story of their adoption journey.

As you consider the path ahead, please know that our thoughts are with you. We’re here to offer support, understanding, and love every step of the way. Your courage is truly remarkable, and we’d be forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your journey.

With much love and gratitude,
Dominic & Patrick

Our Home

Home

We recently moved from a major city to a beautiful suburban area in California to create a better environment for our growing family. Our home is spacious, warm, and inviting—perfect for family life and our three cats, Neve, Fox, and Dewey, who bring so much joy to our lives. Our new neighborhood is very much family oriented, with plenty of parks and recreational activities to keep us active and involved. We’re thrilled that there are fantastic schools nearby, especially the elementary school within walking distance from our home. This community also offers a slower pace and a much stronger sense of connection than the city, making it an ideal place for us to raise a family.

Our Family

Extended Family

Our extended family is close knit and everything to us. Dominic has two half-sisters—one about 30 minutes away and the other in Texas with her husband and their four children. He also has a handful of cousins and aunts and uncles he’s incredibly close with. Patrick’s parents and his brother’s family, including our adorable nephew, all live in Virginia, but we make it a point to see them regularly.

Here in California, we’re also blessed with an incredibly close group of chosen family. These friends are like family to us, and we celebrate everything together, from birthdays to holidays. We have a tradition of hosting Thanksgiving every year, creating such amazing memories filled with laughter, great food, and togetherness. This group will be an integral part of our child’s life, offering love, support, and a sense of community.

Our extended family, both biological and chosen, has provided us with a rich tapestry of relationships and traditions. We’re very lucky to be surrounded by love and support, and our child will grow up with a strong sense of family and belonging.
