Dear Birthmother
As we write this letter to you, we are filled with emotions beyond words. We can only imagine what the challenges in the decision you are facing. We are honored and deeply grateful for the opportunity to be considered as adoptive parents for your baby. We have been waiting for her for years.
If you choose to pursue adoption, please know in your heart, we are here for you through every step of this journey, offering our support, love, and unwavering commitment to your well-being, voice, and wishes- not only through the adoption process but throughout your baby’s life. Your baby will always know about the sacrifice and love that you gave her as her biological mom, a bond that can never be broken. She will know where she comes from, and if you choose us, will grow up only knowing happiness, contentment, and kindness. To us, she will always be a part of our soul the same as her sister, Sophi.
Long before we met, we knew that we wanted a household filled with love, life, and laughter. Adoption was always a part of this dream. We want to offer a home to your baby that is nurturing, full of creativity, music, play, exploration, and most importantly unconditional love to foster your little one to grow into the beautiful person who they want to be. We will each share in her journey- you who gave her life and us who will strive each day to be worthy of your gift. For us, she will be our soul baby. We hope to teach her about where she came from, share in any cultural or family traditions that you wish her to have, and to make her life full of joy and adventure. She will travel to many places and experience the beauty life has to offer. But her first adventure began with you.
Our Home

After decades of living around the US and the world, we have made our forever home in a small waterside town in Michigan. We live in a single-family house in a diverse neighborhood filled with tall trees, big gardens, lots of young children, and warm neighbors. Our house has lots of light, with rooms full of books and knickknacks from our international travels, and play spaces on each floor for the kids. It has an excellent school district where neighborhood children grow up attending together.
Our Family

Our extended family is a bit different than most. Albert comes from a warm Italian-American family (picture ‘Bob’s Burgers) with three adult sisters and three nephews. Rascal (Albert’s dad) is a rock scientist, and Memere (mom) brought the passion for music in the home. Jessi has 4 incredible parents, her loving mom and step-father (living in Alaska), and her dad and step-mom (in Colorado). Both sides have tons of aunts, uncles, and cousins, who we visit throughout the year. Additionally, we have a large group of ‘adopted’ family made up of friends from around the world who are family to us, from a Dominican grandma to aunties from Uganda and Liberia.
