Dear Birthmother
We have been waiting a while for this opportunity, and we are full of emotion. COVID threw a wrench in our plans at first, but it put us exactly where we want to be and we are 100% ready for adoption and this journey. Of all the emotions we are feeling, excitement is the one we always come back to. All of this excitement we are feeling wouldn’t be possible without a brave and selfless mother like you.
You considering giving us the ability to be parents shows a degree of kindness that is not as prevalent in the world these days. The kindness and generosity you have in your heart is something we look forward to experiencing with a child.
The obstacles we have faced in life are nothing compared to the ones you had to face making this decision, so the one word that comes to mind for you is bravery. This decision is a difficult one to make. You are so brave, and we respect you so much for considering adoption and hopefully us. If you choose us, your baby will have a life full of love, and we could not appreciate you more for considering giving us the gift of fatherhood. We will raise this child to have the same bravery you have to tackle anything that this world throws at them. Thank you for considering us.
Our Home
We live in a friendly neighborhood with a great school within walking distance of our home. There are always kids running around and riding bikes in our neighborhood, which is a great sight to see on the way home from work. We have two amazing dogs, Callie and Marley, who are both rescues and love to cuddle and make sure the squirrels stay out of “their” yard.
Our Family
Cory has one brother, two nephews, and a large extended family with about 40 cousins. His mom is one of eight children, and his dad is one of four children. They love getting together at Cory’s grandmother's house to BBQ and visit. Everyone is always welcome, and you can always feel the love they have for one another. The BBQs usually end up with some singing and dancing, and our faces usually hurt from smiling and laughing the entire day.
Jonny has one sister and a smaller extended family with six cousins. They are all super close, and those cousins feel more like siblings. Being Cuban, food has always been a way to get everyone together, and they love cooking with each other and learning all of the authentic recipes. They also love to travel as a family and take trips to see new places together.
