Dear Birthmother
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. Even though we don’t know you yet, we think about you every day and the decision you made to bring you here. Thank you for being the brave and selfless woman you are, and thank you for considering us to raise your baby. We want you to know that no matter what level of contact you choose for the future, your baby will grow up knowing what a brave, selfless, courageous woman you are.
If you decide we are the right family for your baby, we want you to know they will be loved unconditionally, not only by us but by two big brothers and the whole village that makes up our family. We will make sure they experience as many different opportunities as we can offer. They will grow up around music, theater, camping, and so much more. Your baby will celebrate their birthdays with a homemade cake and family surrounding them. They will grow up with holidays filled with family, joy, and love. They will have two big brothers to love them, teach them, and protect them.
Thank you again for taking the time to learn about us and our family. If you choose us to love your baby, it would be the greatest gift ever. We look forward to meeting you and continuing this journey together.
Sincerely,
Josh and Erin
Our Home

We live in a university town in the center of Washington State, where Erin was born and raised and a short 45-minute drive to where Josh’s mom, stepdad, and sister currently live. We love having family so close. Because we live in a small university town, we have tons of events that happen year-round, everything from the fair and rodeo in the fall, The Nutcracker in the winter, first Friday art walks, and dachshunds on parade to concerts and theater shows from the university, high school, and community groups. You can find events for almost anyone here. We enjoy getting out to our schools’ playgrounds with our sons and dog, Lilly, to play, ride bikes, or fly kites. Our boys also love cuddling our cat, Pixel.
Our Family

Erin’s mom lives five minutes away in Erin’s childhood home. Her older brother lives two hours away with his wife and two kids. Erin lost her dad six years ago, but she still goes to his family’s reunion every summer. It’s a full weekend of camping with lots of laughter and tons of cousins, aunts, and uncles. Erin's family enjoys celebrating holidays. Birthdays are celebrated with homemade cakes and a special meal. Holidays include dying and hunting Easter eggs, trick-or-treating, Thanksgiving with extended family, and Christmas, which is filled with Santa and home-knit Christmas stockings.
Josh’s mom and stepdad live 45 minutes away, and his sister lives in the same town. We go to visit as often as we can. We spend one week every summer camping in Oregon and enjoy riding ATVs and four-wheelers. It’s one time of year we get far enough away from civilization that there are no electronics, and we just spend time visiting and laughing. Josh's dad lives in Oklahoma, so we don’t get to see him as much as we’d like, but when we do, we make the most of it. Usually fishing is involved with those visits.
