Dear Birthmother
To the Loving Mother Considering Letting Us Adopt Your Baby:
We know that contemplating this is a big sacrifice for you. Our hearts go out to you for the most precious gift anyone can give. We want you to know we both share in this journey. Just as our hearts will always have a special place for your baby, you will have a special place in our hearts as well. Not a day or special moment will go by without our gratitude for your gift to us. Because of you, we may get to see a miracle.
Adoption is something God has always put on our hearts since we were young. Please know we will never miss an opportunity to tell this child how amazingly brave their mother is and how much you love them. We promise your baby will be loved unconditionally, not only by us but by our family, friends, and church family. We promise to spoil your baby the best we can.
We appreciate the time you have taken to learn about us and our lives. We will be praying for you from this day on.
Our Home

We live in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of town. Our home is a four-bedroom, two-bath home with a fenced-in backyard. There are a lot of restaurants, parks, movie theaters, and local community theaters in the area. Schools are near our home as well as a local university. Our city hosts several annual fairs. We have two dogs: Bandit is an Australian shepherd, and Rocket is a Pembroke corgi. Both of them love kids and love to be around people. We have two bearded dragons, Missy and Chief.
Our Family

Both of us have parents who live In town and whom we see weekly. Everyone in our family and community couldn't be more supportive about this journey that we are on.
Mariah has a younger sister who is married, with a niece and a new nephew. They live an hour away, and we see them for holidays and get-togethers. We also love to have our little niece stay over with us on weekends. There’s a very large family on Mariah's side, with countless aunts, uncles, and cousins. We have yearly family reunions and go out to support our family by going to see games and shows they are in.
Caleb has an older sister, with a niece and a nephew, whom we see a couple times a year due to her living several hours away. Caleb also has family in Georgia and Florida. We like to take a family trip to Georgia, where Caleb’s aunt has a lake house. We also have a very strong church family and longtime friends.
We like to host Thanksgiving dinner, where we go around the table and ask what everyone is thankful for. For Halloween, we hand out candy at Mariah’s grandparents’ house to over 300 trick-or-treaters. On Christmas Eve we go to church, look at Christmas lights, and host dinner at our home while watching Hallmark movies. On Christmas Day, we like to go to Mariah’s family for the day. We take all our gifts and play a game where everyone gets a turn to roll dice. You then get to open a gift and show everyone. We get to pick something we would like to donate money to, maybe a water well or chickens for a village. One year we were blessed with money to help start this journey.
