Dear Birthmother
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. If chosen, we promise to love unconditionally and incorporate any traditions you would like to share with us to pass on to them. We will model kindness, courage, and strength. We believe a child should always feel loved and supported with the decisions they make throughout their lives. We will raise them to know the difference between right and wrong and to stand up for what they believe in.
Mika played basketball, softball, and volleyball, and her parents came to every game and cheered her on. She cannot wait to be that support for our children. Mika will be the type of mother who makes our kids feel safe. She will protect them and teach them how to protect themselves. She cannot wait to take them to Disneyland and spring training.
Natalie is the easiest person to talk to. You can talk to her about anything without fear of judgment. She makes you feel safe and feel like it is all right to just be yourself. She is trustworthy, a great listener, and an excellent communicator. She is always looking for ways to bring people together and build closer relationships. She always has a cheerful smile and a positive attitude. We always have fun together, and the time is filled with laughter and love.
We respect your decision and feel blessed you are considering us. We hope to have a chance to get to know you better and build a relationship with you.
Our Home

Our home has been in Mika’s family for a long time; it was her father’s childhood home. We have renovated the entire place ourselves. It is a three-bedroom, three-bath house in a quiet neighborhood close to our families. There are great schools and ballparks within blocks of our home. The neighborhood is full of kids of all ages. We enjoy being outdoors. We have mountains for snow shoeing, lakes for jet skiing, and sand dunes for riding ATVs, all within 30 miles. Our community is very family oriented. We have two dogs, Roxy and Lexi, who both have fun personalities and love playing with each other. Mika has taught Lexi how to play volleyball, and Roxi is our little soccer player.
Our Family

We live so close to our families; we are always getting together to just hang out and talk. They are always stopping by, and it is suddenly a Twinkie-roasting party , one of our favorite summer pastimes. Together we have seven siblings who are married with kids. We have a strong family support system with aunts, uncles, and cousins who are eager for a new little cousin.
We have an annual family sleepover where we play yard games, make crafts, eat, watch a movie outside, and launch water balloons. The holidays are festive with our family. Together, we do arts and crafts, carve pumpkins, make Christmas ornaments, and build gingerbread houses. These are family traditions we are excited to share with our little ones. Our adopted son is biracial, and we try to educate ourselves on ways we can help him learn about his culture and keep that part of him prominent in his life.
Family is one of the most important things in our lives. Our family is fun and supportive; they even show up for our dogs’ birthday parties. We feel so blessed to have grown up here so close to our families, and we look forward to sharing it all with our children.
