Dear Birthmother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking a moment to get to know us. We can only imagine the strength and love it takes to consider adoption for your child, and we are in awe of your courage. Please know that we hold you in our hearts with deep respect and gratitude. We look forward to walking this journey with you as we dream of holding little hands and seeing the world through the eyes of a child.
Since the early days of our relationship, we've talked about becoming parents. That dream has grown into a shared vision of building a family through adoption. With supportive families—Luis's warm and welcoming relatives across Colorado, Kansas, and Mexico, and Mo's close-knit family in Virginia—we know your child will be embraced with unconditional love.
We've traveled widely and experienced cultures that value family and tradition, and we can't wait to share those experiences with our future child. Our home is filled with celebrations and creativity—from Día de los Muertos and Thanksgiving dinners to handmade holiday cards and storytelling. We dream of baking cookies, planting spring flowers, painting messy masterpieces, and reading bedtime stories.
We understand that this is a profound and difficult decision. If you choose us, your child will be cherished, their story honored, and your love and bravery will always be part of our family's foundation.
With all our love and respect,
Luis & Mo
Our Home

We live in North Carolina in a calm, quiet neighborhood. Our beautiful home is filled with natural light that our many houseplants love. Our home has four bedrooms upstairs—one of which will soon become a nursery—and a spacious backyard surrounded by trees. The neighborhood is clean and friendly, with respectful neighbors and several families with children who take the school bus each morning. We enjoy walking our dog, Ikran, along the nearby greenway during the mornings and evenings. We're fortunate to be in a district with some of the best, most diverse schools. Our area also offers a variety of local attractions, including outdoor activities, art museums, lakes, historical sites, and access to both mountains and beaches. It's a peaceful yet vibrant community, perfect for growing our family.
Our Family

We both come from families with strong bonds, and we're fortunate to stay connected with them throughout the year. Luis has a younger sister, a brother, and seven nieces and nephews. He visits Colorado and Kansas multiple times a year, often gathering with extended family—especially in October to celebrate his mother's birthday. Mo has two older brothers who live in Virginia, along with a nephew and a niece, and he visits them regularly for birthdays and holidays.
Our families are spread across the U.S., Mexico, Europe, and Canada, and we enjoy celebrating life's special moments with them—whether it's a birthday, graduation, or quinceañera. Most holidays are spent in North Carolina, where we've developed traditions of our own. We celebrate Día de los Muertos, Mo cooks Thanksgiving dinner, and Luis makes tamales for Christmas. Hosting Friendsgiving has become a cherished annual event, where Luis also leads a holiday-themed art activity. We handwrite and send holiday cards to friends and family, and every New Year's Eve, we watch the ball drop in our living room with our dog.
Our traditions reflect our diverse backgrounds and shared love for family, food, and meaningful celebrations.
