Dear Birthmother
We want to begin this letter by acknowledging the incredible strength and love it takes to consider adoption for your baby. We cannot begin to imagine the emotions you have faced, the choices you have had to consider, and the weight of this moment in your life. Please know that we see your courage, your selflessness, and the depth of love that has led you to this path.
For over six years, we have dreamed of becoming parents. We have faced heartbreak, loss, and moments of hopelessness, wondering if this dream would ever come true. There were days when the weight of waiting felt unbearable, yet we never let go of our belief that the right child would find their way to us. Now, that path has led us to you. While we are filled with indescribable joy and hope, we also recognize that this journey carries pain for you. Adoption is a story woven with love but also with loss, and we do not take that lightly.
If you choose us, your child will be loved beyond measure. They will grow up in a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering support. We will cherish every moment—every first step, bedtime story, and milestone—always remembering that this was only possible because of the love you had for them first. Your child will always know their story began with a mother who made a choice out of immense love and hope for their future.
Our Home

Our charming home is nestled in what we believe is one of the best places to live—Alaska. Just half a mile from an elementary school and near an extensive hiking trail system, we walk our dogs there almost daily. We have two amazing dogs: Peanut, our 15-year-old dachshund mix, and Luna, our 7-year-old beagle/dachshund mix. Peanut, full of energy even at 15, has been with us through everything and loves kids. Luna, our little adventurer, is the queen of the trails, a cuddle enthusiast, and adores the neighborhood kids. Our cul-de-sac is filled with young families who have become close friends, creating a strong sense of community. With everything in town just 20 minutes away, we love our perfect location for enjoying hockey games, theater shows, and outdoor adventures with our dogs.
Our Family

We are the only family that lives here in Alaska, so we have surrounded ourselves with very close friends that we celebrate holidays and birthdays with. Both of our parents visit at least once a year and will sometimes stay for a full month. Our parents love to visit Alaska and hope to purchase a condo in the near future. We both have a great relationship with our parents and talk to our parents almost daily; even though they are far away, they are very much involved in our lives and love being grandparents. We have a total of 9 nieces and nephews (not including our friends' kids). We plan to visit Michigan every 4th of July because of our fond memories of growing up on the water. We want our kids to enjoy those same fond memories of swimming, water skiing, bon-fires, hot dogs, and fireworks. Family and friends are important to us, and we make them a priority.
