Dear Birthmother

Words cannot express the gratitude we have as we’re writing this letter to you. We’re so very grateful to have the opportunity to be considered as a worthy option to care for this beautiful being. Though we do not know how you feel at this very moment, we hope you find peace and comfort: comfort in knowing that by selecting us, you are placing your precious creation into the care of a family that will love and care for them forever and peace in knowing they will be safe, loved, and protected.

Our home is filled with happiness, warmth, and laughter. We picture ourselves providing a safe and nurturing space for a child to grow and thrive. We plan to raise them with love, support, and the knowledge that they are cherished and deeply wanted.

We understand that adoption is a complex journey, and we want you to know our hearts hold space for you. We hope to learn as much about you that you are comfortable with sharing, such as you and your hopes for your child's future. We can't wait to welcome a child into our lives. We promise to love and respect them unconditionally and to create a happy and fulfilling life for them. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We hope it displays our deep sincerity and love.

With warmth, hope and respect,
Darwin and Teresa

Our Home

Home

We live in a great community in the Midwest with plenty of children in our family. Our friends also have children, and there are many kids in our neighborhood. Our school district is highly rated. We have a three-bedroom home, and the little one will have their own bedroom and bathroom. We also have a one-year-old yorkie named Milo. He enjoys long walks, barking at delivery drivers, watching TV, and eating. He is a true lover boy and would gladly welcome a baby into our family.

Our Family

Extended Family

Teresa is an only child with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She doesn’t have any siblings, so her childhood friends have become more like sisters and brothers. Holidays are a big deal. The family gathers for Christmas lunch and dinner, and on Thanksgiving, our family spends the whole day together (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). And of course we are BBQing on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Darwin has the larger family. He has a host of aunts and uncles, four sisters, over 30 cousins, and friends. His family often has “random” dinners. His dad is a great cook and will often call us to have dinner as a family. On most holidays, we have to split time between family events.

Needless to say, we have a village excited as we are to welcome a precious child.
