Dear Birthmother
Thank you for taking the time to read about us and getting to know us as we know your time is valuable. We hope this letter finds you well. We understand your concerns and worries and hope getting to know us helps you feel strong and supported. We personally want to thank you for all the sacrifices you have made and all the challenges you have faced with giving your baby a chance at life. We respect you and hope we can be here for you during this time in your life. We thank you for considering us and getting to know us while you are looking for a family to care for your baby.
Your baby would have an opportunity to grow up in a home full of love, laughter, support, and fun if you choose us. We will encourage them to find their passions and grow their knowledge through different experiences. It is important to us to carry forward the compassion and gratitude on this adoption journey so your child knows they will always be loved and valued.
We understand this is a difficult time, and we hope we can be a part of your story. Our hearts will be full with the opportunity to love your child as our own.
Best wishes,
Megan and Angela
About Us
We both grew up in the Chicagoland suburbs, and we met while attending physical therapist assistant school in 2017. As our relationship progressed, we purchased our home and welcomed our dog, Molly, into our lives. We united our families and got married in October 2021 in a small ceremony with our immediate family and celebrated our marriage with family and friends after. We have both been working in the physical therapy setting for over ten years and love helping people on a daily basis. We are a sarcastic and fun-loving couple, and we love walking our dog, bike riding, and going out to breakfast or dinner as well as spending evenings next to a fire in our backyard. We spend our weekends together being active, visiting our parents and siblings, traveling, attending local festivals, and catching up on our favorite TV shows.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption has always been on the top of our list when we have talked about starting our family as we have witnessed successful adoptions with close family and friends. We have both faced health challenges that have taken any chance of us having children of our own. We feel such excitement for the opportunity to guide, love, protect, and care for a child. We both come from close-knit families that live close by, and we would love to add a child to our families that mean so much to us. We look forward to building new family traditions with holidays, vacations, new experiences, and adventures.
Our Home
We live in a family-friendly neighborhood where we are walking distance to bike paths, schools, restaurants, and multiple parks. Throughout the year, our park district has different family activities and events as well as monthly music in the park during the summertime. We live in a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house with a nice fenced-in yard to sit, garden, grill, and play with our dog, Molly, in. Molly is a three-year-old corgi/Australian cattle dog mix. She is a very cuddly and sassy dog that loves to play fetch outside. Molly loves everyone. She is especially gentle with our five-year-old niece when she comes over to visit.
Our Family
We are fortunate to have both of our parents as well as our siblings and their families close by. Megan has a younger brother who lives close with his wife and soon-to-be baby boy. Angela has an older sister who also lives close by with her husband and daughter.
We have loved spending time with our niece by taking her to new parks, playing games, having sleepovers, and going on adventures like Disney on Ice. We can’t wait to have more adventures with our nephew once he is born. We love getting together with our parents and siblings for dinner or meeting up to go to the zoo, for the Fourth of July fireworks, or trying something new. We are also lucky to have aunts, uncles, and cousins locally on both sides that we get to see for holidays and birthdays.
