Dear Birthmother
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and hopefully helping us to realize a lifelong goal of building a family. We are now ready to make this dream into our reality, and with your help, we promise to provide a loving and supportive household for your child to grow up in.
Adding a child to the family is what we have been working toward the last couple of years as we have gotten financially ready and moved into a home with plenty of space for a little one to run around and play. We look forward to providing the kind of experiences for your child that we have fond memories of from our youth, from visiting historic sites and fascinating museums to relaxing at the beach and spending the day at the amusement park. We will provide a supportive environment where your child can explore their creativity and indulge their curiosity about the world with plenty of opportunities for fun along the way.
Our Home

We live in a 3-bedroom home in a quiet, diverse neighborhood with our two cats, Sonja and Prancer. When we purchased our home, we did so with the plan of having a place for Michael’s parents to call home when they aren’t enjoying retirement travel. They are comfortably settled in a small house built just for them in the backyard. Having grown up in the area, we also have many long-time friends who live nearby with their own families. The neighborhood has great parks, some of the best schools in the country, and many excellent restaurants and shops all within easy walking distance. Nearby, we have a wonderful zoo and a variety of amazing art, history, and science museums we are looking forward to bringing our child to.
Our Family

Michael has a close relationship with his parents, and they are excited about having a grandchild. For the big holidays, we get together with the extended family to celebrate and play cards or board games. (They tend to like Aggravation.)
Billy comes from a large family with a strong military tradition. He has three brothers and eight nieces and nephews between them. One lives nearby, and the other two are stationed in California and Japan. His grandparents, originally from Texas, retired near Dallas, and most of Billy’s five aunts and uncles and nine cousins settled there as well. Any visit is sure to involve large gatherings as everyone comes over and we play dominoes and talk late into the night.
