Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We are very excited to hopefully be navigating this journey with you. We both want to humbly express our gratitude for the courage and strength you portray by considering adoption. We can only imagine the weight of the decisions you are facing, and we want to assure you that the well-being of your baby is of the utmost importance. We also want you to know your feelings are valid. It takes incredible strength to make such a selfless decision, and we are truly moved by the love you have for your child.

We want to share the gratitude and joy that fill our hearts at the thought of welcoming a precious child into our family. We could not do it without you and are immensely grateful for your consideration of sharing your gift of a child. Your child, who will be a unique and beautiful individual, is already a source of hope and love for us.

We understand this decision is one that is not made lightly, and we assure you we are committed to being transparent, understanding, and supportive throughout this process. We are here to listen, learn, and honor the unique journey that brought you to this point. Thank you for considering us to be potential parents for your child. Your strength and love will forever be a part of our family’s story and legacy, and we eagerly await this next chapter that can only be achieved with your help.

With respect and gratitude,
Brandon and Charlie

About Us

Hello! We are two very ambitious individuals who have been together now for over 14 years. We are very motivated by and interested in continuing our careers; Charlie recently purchased the salon he works at, and Brandon is continuing his education, getting a doctorate in higher educational leadership. We are a committed couple celebrating our ten-year wedding anniversary in May 2024. We enjoy helping each other when one of us has too much on their plate or when it comes to simply doing something one enjoys and the other doesn’t. We think this helps us in our relationship and stabilizes our home. Most days you can find us working on a house project, working on homework or the business, spending time with friends, or enjoying our hobbies. We each have our own hobbies: sports like racquetball or soccer, card and video games when we can, or lounging and spending an evening together getting caught up on our favorite shows or a movie.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are extremely excited to welcome a little one into our home. Our decision to adopt a child comes from a blend of experiences, values, and a deep-seated desire to expand our family through love and compassion. After carefully considering the ways we could become parents, we concluded that adoption aligns best with our values. We want to offer a sense of comfort to an expectant mother making one of the toughest decisions of her life, and we want to be available to provide a stable, loving home to a child who can grow up to be whoever they want to be. Our conviction to adopt stems from our belief that every child deserves a haven and a bright future that we can provide through the bonds of love and commitment we share with each other. We are so excited to become parents!

Our Home

Home

We live in a three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home with plenty of yard space for children to run and play. We have several other families on our block with children; it’s a vibrant community with lots of life. We are within walking distance of several playgrounds and nature trails and a local library that puts on several activities per week. We have a local auto museum that hosts several different themed “parks,” including dinosaurs, the Titanic, and Disney memorabilia. We have fish, two cats, five chickens, and a cockatiel we love very much and treat just as if they were human members of the family. They are spoiled rotten, but they bring so much joy and life to our home, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Our Family

Extended Family

Brandon has two parents, a younger sister and brother-in-law, and is an uncle to their three children. Charlie also has two parents, an aunt and uncle who he considers to be his second family, and a nephew. We also have several cousins, aunts, uncles, and other extended family.

One of Brandon’s favorite traditions is our annual Christmas tree hunt. We did that as children, and we are excited to be able to pass that tradition along. One of our mutual favorite traditions is the celebratory meal we have on the first day of every new season to honor the passage of time, acknowledge and accept change, and be thankful for all we have.

We have friends nearby whom we would be able to rely on, and we have a bustling neighborhood of children who would love to get out and play. We are happy to be able to have a chosen family of people who surround us in our lives.
