Dear Birthmother
We’d like to start by expressing our gratitude and recognition of your strength in this difficult choice. We will always honor and respect your story of courage, selflessness and the love of your child that lead you towards the path of adoption. Your choice will always be respected and acknowledged as your child continues to grow with us.
Hans’ time in the military taught us that family often isn’t determined by birth, but who you choose to share your experiences with. It was also during this time that Cait discovered her passion for volunteering with CASA, a children's advocacy and support group in San Antonio. It was after this time that we began desiring to grow our own family, but unfortunately weren’t able to medically. After numerous conversations, we ultimately realized adoption was a perfect fit and may have always been on the roadmap for us.
We recognize the difficult choice in front of you. Should you choose us as parents, our promise to you is to always provide a safe home filled with unconditional love, laughter and opportunity. We will cherish your child and encourage them to grow through curiosity, kindness, and a confidence in pursuing their dreams. In choosing us, your child will grow up knowing their story, their roots, and the strength of your love that brought them into our lives.
We hope you feel assured that your child would be deeply loved and supported at all times with the family you’ve chosen for their future. Thank you for considering us!
Our Home
Our home is a 3 bed, 2 bath 1 story home with a fully fenced backyard full of flowers, apple and plum bushes! Our house offers a ton of natural light and with the neutral paint colors; we hope our home offers a comfy and cozy vibe where someone can grab a book, curl up on the couch with a cup of hot cocoa, turn on the fireplace and just hang out.
Our neighborhood was started in 2017 and our house is located on the first street that was added to the development. We have a neighborhood playground and basketball court along with a few walking trails, a wildlife refuge where there are birds chirping all year, frogs ribbiting and sometimes we’ll also see a bald eagle fly by.
Our Family
Cait’s family is of Irish-Italian descent. As you can imagine, they are a strong-willed and a spicy bunch! Cait’s Mom and Dad are ready to open their front door to talk your ear off while they overfeed you and say it’s “our year” for the Buffalo Bills to win the Superbowl.
Hans’ family is of German, Swedish and mixed-European descent. It seems that Hans’ love of symmetry and pragmatism is genetic! Hans attributes his love of art and nature to his Dad. Hans learned his sense of compassion from his Mom, and naturally was drawn to a career in medicine.
We’re fortunate to have a close-knit and joyful extended family, complete with grandparents, aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great uncles and 5 energetic cousins who are all ready to share their love of baseball, soccer, playing with Legos and traveling to an immersive world of llamas, unicorns and dinosaurs.
