Dear Birthmother

As you make this decision, we thank you for considering us. We know this decision will be incredibly difficult for you. Our promise to you is this: We will love your child unconditionally. We will always treat them so that what they say matters and so that their ideas are valued. We hope that if we do so, they will feel that "anything is possible." We will share their birth story with them, because we understand the importance of family and understanding identity. We want them to know who they are and where they come from. The life your child will have with us will be filled with big family parties, French toast, lots of karaoke nights, a supportive community, great Halloween costumes, and most importantly, love.

We hope to encourage courage and kindness, to live a whimsical life full of laughter, and inspiration. We know our family can help them chase dreams and grow without judgment. There is always someone to provide loving support. Thank you again for your time! This opportunity is truly impossible without you. We will be forever grateful to you. We send all our love, and Liberty says "Hi."

Our Home

Home

We have one dog, Liberty. Our 15-year-old poodle-bichon mix is our sweet grandma. She's a loyal dog who has been with our family for 10 years. We like to call her our alarm clock, as she's ready to start the morning, when she sees the sunlight. We live in a five-bedroom home with a nice-sized backyard. We are located within walking distance of nearby schools, parks, hospitals, restaurants, and shopping areas. Our home is full of art, and music, with a nerdy twist.

Our Family

Extended Family

Michael is the oldest of three brothers, and grew up in Michigan. His parents, Donna and Robert, are still married. Both of his brothers are married, with children of their own. His family is still in Michigan, and they visit at least twice a year. They are a board/card-playing family, with nights spent around the table laughing.

Carlos is the oldest of three—one brother, one sister—who live in San Diego. As an Army brat, Carlos' family moved all over the U.S., from Hawaii to Virginia. Carlos' big family (40 cousins) is spread out throughout the country. Carlos's family gathers once a year for a family reunion in San Diego, which has been going on since the 1970s.

Our chosen family living nearby is our immediate support system—everyone coming together from different backgrounds and ethnicities, from artists to scientists, sharing one common goal: supporting each other!
