Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We cannot begin to describe our deep gratitude and genuine love for you. We will never be able to understand what a difficult decision this must be, and we are in awe of your selfless love for your sweet, growing baby. We already pray for both you and the baby daily. The love we already feel for a future baby is indescribable.

We want to assure you, if you choose us, we will love this child unconditionally. They will never question their worth, because they will be constantly reminded of how loved they are by so many people. They will always know your love for them. We will make sure they have many opportunities and experiences throughout their life. They will always be taken care of and have everything they will ever need. We dream of all the firsts we will experience with the newest member of our family. We have already begun preparing our home to ensure it’s a safe environment for them to grow.

Above all else, we hope our words give you peace and reassurance of the deep joy in our hearts and the love we cannot wait to share. If you have any further questions, please reach out to us; we are always happy to share more. Thank you for considering us!

With endless love and gratitude,
Nikos and Hope

About Us

Hello! We are Nikos and Hope. We have been best friends since we met in Michigan while working for the same organization. One of our core foundations is trying new things (snorkeling, hiking) and traveling to new places together. On our travels, we love learning about different cultures and meeting people wherever we go. We are very close to our large families and love to visit them often on our time off. Hope is an internal medicine physician at a local hospital, working 14-15 shifts a month. Nikos primarily works from home as a healthcare consultant. We also have a strong faith and love attending our local church. Above all else, building a family together has always been our ultimate dream. We cannot wait for this new adventure.

What Led Us To Adoption

While starting a family has always been important to us, we have always been deeply drawn toward adoption. After years of research and speaking with family and friends who have experienced the beauty of adoption, we feel prepared to start the process. Our cousin and his wife have been blessed with three wonderful children through adoption. Seeing the lives touched, both parents and children alike, further increased our desire to adopt. We consider it a true calling and one we don’t take lightly.

Our Home

Home

After Hope finished her residency in Michigan, we moved to a beautiful town in North Carolina. We love both the ocean and the mountains, so being driving distance from both made this location an easy choice. Our subdivision is zoned for one of the best school districts, and we have a lot of young families in our neighborhood. We are members of our neighborhood pool and close to several parks. One of our favorite activities is walking our dog, Charlie, around the block. Charlie is very sweet tempered and loves our nieces and nephews. She is a schnauzer/poodle mix and hypoallergenic. We also have two rescue outside kitties that love playing in the yard all day long.

Our Family

Extended Family

We both come from very large, very fun families. Nikos is Greek/Egyptian and grew up in a small town in Indiana. He has four siblings who are all very close. We actually just got back from attending his brother’s wedding in Warsaw, Poland. Being Greek, family is of utmost importance, and we visit each other every chance we get. Hope grew up on a farm in a small town in Alabama. She has three younger siblings, and we love planning trips with them. We have incredibly large extended families, and this became quite evident when planning our wedding guest list!

Both of our families are incredibly supportive of our adoption journey. They couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome the newest member of our family. Our children will have two great-grandparents, four grandparents, and several aunts and uncles who love them already.
