Dear Birthmother
We want to thank you for considering us in the profound and challenging process of finding the perfect family for your precious child. While we may never fully grasp the difficulty of your decision, we have known heartbreak and recognize the immense courage and strength required from you.
It would be an absolute honor to be entrusted with the responsibility of raising your child, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to share the richness of life with them. Our hearts are so full of excitement at the prospect of creating countless cherished memories together. The magic of witnessing a child's growth and learning process is a blessing, and the idea of welcoming a second child into our lives fills us with gratitude.
From the joys of watching them conquer milestones like teething and potty training to the daily routines of preparing for school and assisting with homework, we cannot wait to enjoy the challenges and joys of parenthood with two babies! The delightful moments, such as enjoying cartoons together and teaching them how to ride a bike, swimming, baking cookies, and perfecting the art of grilling a steak, are some experiences we most look forward to sharing.
Your baby will be surrounded by love within our family. We are overflowing with love to give, and our entire family is thrilled at the prospect of welcoming this tiny person into our lives. Thank you sincerely for considering us as potential parents.
About Us
We met while working in retail together and found we were both interested in technology. We decided to go back to school and helped each other to remain focused while working on our degrees. We were married shortly before we graduated and have both found comfortable careers in technology. We are hardworking individuals who understand the balance between work and family life. Three years ago we adopted an amazing baby boy who has quickly become the center of our focus. Casandra comes from a big extended family, and we love spending time with them. We spend our summers with extended family at the lake and enjoy indoor family time when the winter gets too cold. John loves to cook and create, and Casandra spends a lot of time crafting. All three of us love to spend time with family and friends as often as possible.
What Led Us To Adoption
John's brother adopted a beautiful little boy 12 years ago. As we struggled with our infertility, we watched their family grow up and decided to look at other options to grow our family. We have always envisioned our life including children and were so blessed to have adopted our son, Gabriel, through LifeLong three years ago. We could not imagine the joys and challenges of parenthood until we experienced it. We realized we have so much love to give and want to pour that love into expanding our family again. We are both extremely close to our siblings and feel like that bond is so important. We really cannot wait to continue our adventures as a family with another little explorer!
Our Home
Our home is a beautiful, two-story home in a small neighborhood near the heart of our city. The neighbors are quiet and friendly, and it isn’t unusual to stop and chat during walks along the paths that wind their way through the community. Our yard is large and has lots of beautiful flowering trees and flat spaces perfect for lots of imaginative play! Our city is continuing to grow our downtown into a multicultural hub, and we have several festivals, new parks, and events being hosted nearby. There’s so much here for a family to explore and contribute to, with events for all ages. We also have two fluffy cats that love to cuddle and have become protective of our son. It is so much fun watching them play with him!
Our Family
We spend a lot of time with Casandra’s large extended family with five aunts and uncles, 14 cousins, and 20 second cousins. Family has always been a huge and important part of our life. Our family events used to take place at Grandma’s house but have grown so large in the past few years that we have started renting out a hall for events. For most holidays, we host potlucks, and everybody brings something yummy to share. John loves to be creative in the kitchen, and whatever he invents to take is always the first to get eaten!
In the summertime, we like to spend time at the small lake cottage our family shares. The lake is full of childhood memories: roasting marshmallows over the firepit on the beach, watching fireworks on the Fourth of July, swimming until dusk every weekend, riding bikes along the dirt roads down to the ice cream shop, and lots of laughter and family games.
In the fall and over the winter holidays, we like to bake and decorate cookies to give as gifts. We also like to craft other things that catch our interest, often planning whole weekends around projects we’ve found!
