Dear Birthmother
We know firsthand the mixed emotions the adoption process can bring. The deep difficulty, courage, sacrifice, and bravery of choosing an adoption plan for your baby is not lost on us. Your child will always know the love you have for them.
We are so grateful you’ve taken the time to read through our profile to get to know us a little better. Should you choose our family, not a day will go by without us thinking of you and how you have blessed our home. We promise we will forever and always love your baby and provide him or her with a life full of laughter, education, travel, adventure, and, most importantly, a loving, stable, happy home. We value kindness, honesty, acceptance, and hard work, and we will strive to model those values for your child every day. We are active, but we simply love just spending time together and cannot wait to see your child grow up with Mikey as a brother. As an adoptive family already, your child will have a brother who can share that deep bond of being touched by adoption.
From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for considering us and providing us a chance to expand our family through adoption once again.
About Us
Hi there! We are John, Becky, and Mikey! We met in law school and knew immediately we were each other’s partner in love and life. We have an amazing four-year-old son who is super active and caring and loves to build things. We also have two dogs, so our house is sometimes furry but it is a happy, warm, and loving home. We spend many of our evenings going to either a practice or a game, but we also enjoy our downtime and movie nights. We are both attorneys and work at the same firm. Off the clock, we are easygoing and love to be outdoors, travel, and simply hang out with each other as a family. John’s favorite job is being a dad, and he coaches Mikey’s t-ball team. Becky keeps the family organized but keeps it fun! We also like to do DIY around the house, and we all love to decorate for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always wanted a family of our own and spent years attempting fertility treatments. However, we both felt a pull toward adoption as the way to share our love and home. In 2020 we were forever thrilled to become parents through adoption to our son, Michael. He’s changed our lives forever, and we know firsthand the joy adoption can bring. As adoptive parents, we have grown our “village,” where we know many friends and family who have been touched by adoption. Adoption has forever blessed and touched our family, and we cannot imagine a more special way for our family to grow than through the same process that made us a family.
Our Home

We own a one-story home with three bedrooms and an office for when one of us works from home (which is often), a pool, and a yard. We live in a small community, and our home is located on a golf course country club. It is the best neighborhood in our area in terms of safety, beauty, and activities. We do a lot of walking, and we all love to jog, ride our bikes, or swim. We also have two dogs, Larry and Wally, who love to play and sleep. We are 45 minutes from the beach, and we go there often to play in the water and make sandcastles. We also love visiting our local library and parks, and we have frequent play dates with our friends.
Our Family

Our family is mainly located in Texas. We have many uncles, aunts, and cousins, and the family gets together frequently for BBQs, birthdays, and Cowboys or Spurs games. One of our favorite traditions is during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We drive to the hill country in Texas and get together with family for the weekend. There are lots of little cousins, and Mikey has a great time visiting and playing. John’s parents originally hail from California, but John’s dad recently moved to our town in Texas and we see him every week. John also has family in Hawaii, and we’re looking forward to planning a trip there soon. We would love to bring a new child with us to experience our favorite traditions and have fun right along with us.
