Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We are so happy to be writing this letter. The most important thing we can say is that sharing our lives, love, and family with you would be an incredible honor. We know this must be a difficult decision, and we are very grateful you are taking the time to read this. We admire the strength that has brought you to consider making an adoption plan for your baby.

When we started this process, neither of us knew what to expect. The only thing we knew for sure is that we both wanted to have a child in our lives and build a family of our own. When we found out the news that we were unable to conceive naturally, we instantly knew adoption was the choice for us. We felt this was God’s plan to match us with an expectant mother who wanted to give her baby a loving home.

We’re more excited than ever and hope that by looking at our photos and reading a little bit about us, you’ll have a sense of not only our life but of the many wonderful people who love and support us.

Love,
Ryan & Kala

About Us

Kala is energetic, kind, friendly, fun, patient, and loving. She is a first grade teacher. Teaching primary is her passion. Ryan is hardworking, smart, witty, loving, patient, and fun. He loves social studies and being a coach. We have the best interests of our students at heart. Not only do we want them to be academically successful but we want them to know the importance of being held accountable. Kala enjoys entertaining, decorating, cleaning, and being by the water. Ryan enjoys golfing, cooking/BBQ, yardwork, and watching sports. We both enjoy attending concerts and sporting events, cooking together, playing games, watching movies and TV shows, jet skiing, and playing with our dogs. Any time we get to spend with our family and friends is what’s most important to us. We always look forward to visits with our families during holidays and summertime. Family time is very special to us.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always wanted to be parents. When we were told we could not conceive naturally, it was heartbreaking. We were given a choice between egg donation or adoption. Without a doubt, we both agreed we wanted to go in the direction of adoption. Ryan and his twin sister were adopted. Kala's aunt also went through the process of adopting and we could not imagine life without our little cousin. We want nothing more than to become parents! We know there are people out there considering adoption for their child. We want to give them peace of mind knowing we will do everything in our power to give their child a loving and safe environment to grow. This child will be a blessing to us.

Our Home

Home

We have a beautiful three-bedroom, two-bath home in Texas. Our home is backed up to a small neighborhood pond where you see families walking or riding bikes with pets every night. Our school district is a district of choice, with tremendous support in the community. The high school stadium is packed every Friday night. We have multiple elementary schools, one in particular currently being a Blue Ribbon school. We have two dogs, named Hudson and Millie. Hudson is a 3.5-year-old Lab mix, and Millie is a one-year-old sheepadoodle. Hudson loves swimming, cuddles, and being outside. Millie is the queen bee and loves water, chewing on bones, and sleeping.

Our Family

Extended Family

Kala’s extended family includes her mother, sister and brother-in-law, brother and sister-in-law, two nephews, one niece, one grandmother, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her mother, siblings, nephews, and niece are here in Texas, and we get to see each other often. The other part of her family is split between the West and East Coasts. When we are together, we enjoy playing games, going to the lake or beach, watching movies, and cooking.

Ryan’s extended family includes his father, twin sister and brother-in-law, little sister and brother-in-law, little sister, and little brother and sister-in-law, with seven nephews and nieces. He has multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins living mostly in Texas. We enjoy family holidays and being able to see each other. Most of his family lives hours apart and have to share holidays, so every minute with family matters!
