Dear Birthmother
We are grateful you have taken the time to read our profile and gotten to know us as potential parents for your child. You are faced with an incredibly difficult decision, and we are inspired by your courage, selflessness, and bravery. We have dreamed of expanding our family and are grateful for the opportunity to do so with your help.
We are committed to providing your child with a safe, loving, and accepting home where they will feel valued, encouraged, and supported. We will work hard to create an environment where your child will enjoy quality time with family, explore the outdoors, be exposed to different ways of participating in and serving their community, and become a person of integrity. We will teach your baby the value of love, the importance of building community, the power of acceptance, and how to try again.
This is a lifelong commitment. We will respect and support the level of involvement you feel most comfortable with to provide your child with a fulfilling life. We are committed to this experience and opportunity. We would be honored to teach your child the love and support we have been blessed with in our lives. Thank you again for considering us in your adoption process.
Our Home

We live within walking distance of the historic downtown of our small city that boasts historic buildings, small boutiques and businesses, restaurants, and a historic river walk. We live in a comfortable, two-bedroom condo split between two floors, in a small complex of 15 units of supportive neighbors. This is home to the three of us and our 12-year-old rescue dog, Cecelia. Our home is walking distance from the local primary school (K-2) and multiple parks and down the street from the aquatic center. We love that we live a short drive from many beautiful wildlife preserves and hiking trails on beautiful national forest land.
Our Family

We are both blessed to have close-knit families with robust traditions that keep us connected. We grew up enjoying regular visits to Grandma’s house, family-centered birthday parties, annual holiday traditions, and cabin or camping trips. We still see Chris’s family often, including an annual trip to the rodeo where our nieces compete in 4H, family gatherings for birthdays, and annual Easter and Christmas celebrations that Landa’s mother joins as well. Landa’s mother is our daily childcare for our son, and we regularly enjoy quality time at her house on the weekends.
These traditions have greatly impacted who we have become as individuals and as a family. Bedtime stories, summer camping trips, and time spent outside on the weekends are traditions we have established as a family that keep us grounded and connected. Weekly walks and gatherings with friends and their families help us to celebrate the community we have built and provide us with support and perspective as we navigate parenthood. We hope to be able to share these traditions and memories with your child, providing them with a foundation of positive relationships that will provide lifelong support and encouragement.
