Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We are so proud of your courage. There are so many unknowns and fears that must come with this process for you. Selecting adoptive parents to care for your child highlights your empathy and bravery. Throughout this journey, we hope you will be able to learn more about us through our profile, and if chosen to connect, we hope you will further see that we are two loving, nurturing, patient, and kind men who will fiercely love, support, protect, and defend your child through all of life’s trials and tribulations.

There probably isn’t a lot we can say to make this process any easier. All of the feelings, emotions, and hesitations must be so overwhelming, but please know we are here for you. We are ready to answer any questions you may have about us and the life we hope to be able to provide to your child. We feel very well prepared to give your child more than we had as children, not just in a material sense but in a sense of holistic development. We want to envelop them in new cultures, show them the world, and teach them how to give back to others in need and how to be a good person who is well rounded and ready to make a difference in the world.

We are so thankful for your consideration, and we cannot wait to connect with you soon!

About Us

We met in Dallas nearly eight years ago. From our first date, we knew it was a match. In many ways, we are complete opposites, but in many others, we are the same. We give one another balance to be the best version of ourselves individually and collectively, and we know we will bring this same balance to parenthood. After dating for just over three years, we were engaged, and a year later, we were married in June 2020. Jordan works in banking, and Marcus recently transitioned from public education to corporate research. We are both career driven and family oriented. We live a very active lifestyle full of travel, family and friend time, fancy dinners, and movie nights on the couch snuggling the pups. We are so thankful for the life we have been able to build with one another and are so excited to share it all with the newest addition to our family.

What Led Us To Adoption

From the start of our relationship in 2016, we both knew we wanted to be parents. We are in a good place to grow our family, and after considering all of our options, we know adoption is the best choice for us. We have an immense support system and so many people in our lives who are thrilled to be able to love your baby and contribute to the tribe that it takes to raise a child. We are so excited to provide your child with a loving home and rich opportunities to see the world and explore various cultures. We are ready to be dads!

Our Home

Home

We live in a beautiful, two-story home with plenty of room for our growing family. Our diverse community is located in a top-rated school district with two elementary schools and a daycare right in our subdivision. We have many amenities, including swimming pools, playgrounds, and parks with hiking and bike trails and an 11-acre lake with beach entry and a swimming space for our dogs. We have a covered patio with an outdoor kitchen and a pool with a spa in our backyard. We have two fur babies, Rocky and LuLu. Both are rescues, and they are so sweet and loving. They love going for walks, taking naps, and treats, and LuLu loves to play outside. They cannot wait to meet their baby human!

Our Family

Extended Family

We are both very close to our families. We both grew up in the same area, and the majority of our family is located in that same region. Jordan's parents still live in his childhood home he grew up in, and his one sibling and their family is located in a nearby city. They recently had a son, who is Jordan's first nephew. Jordan also has several cousins: two who live in Texas relatively close to us and the other two located throughout the country.

Marcus comes from a huge blended family. He is one of 14 children among step, half and whole siblings. The majority of his family is located near us, and one of his brothers lives out of state. He has 14 nephews, 13 nieces, two great-nieces, and two great-nephews. Holidays and family gatherings are always a blast.

We are godparents to our two-year-old godson. He has helped to prepare us for what parenthood will truly entail. We are also very blessed to have a great group of friends who are our chosen family. Many have young children who will make the perfect playmates for the newest addition to our family.
