Dear Birthmother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We would first like to thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. Whether we are the right fit or not, it means the world to us that you took the time to read about us. We understand that considering an adoption plan has to be the hardest decision you will ever have to make. We are physically unable to have a biological child, and the sacrifice you are making could allow us to achieve our dream of being loving parents. We are grateful you would learn about us and hopefully choose us.
We want to reassure you and hopefully calm your fears and worries for the future. If you make our dream of becoming fathers come true, we will do everything we can to ensure your child grows up surrounded by joy, happiness, and love. Every year will bring themed birthday parties with cakes made from scratch. Family trips will happen regularly, whether it is just to Grandma and Grandpa’s or around the world. Your child will have access to mountains of toys. Education is the most valuable tool a child can have, and we will be there every step of the way to ensure stellar grades and a future that holds all the potential anyone could want. We want you to know that no matter what, we will always be home for them, with a warm bed, a hearty bowl of soup, and all the love anyone could want.
About Us
We are a newly married couple who have been together since May 2020. Matthew works in Accounting, and Matt is an early childhood special education teacher. Our careers are very important to us as we want to provide our future child with a comfortable life. We love performing in community theater together and going to see theater. Not a day goes by when we are not singing in our car. We regularly attend and host game nights with our friends and family and are always looking to expand our game collection. Traveling is important to us, and we want to continue traveling with our future child. Matthew loves to cook and makes almost everything from scratch; he can’t wait to pass that on. Matt enjoys camping and hiking and hopes to have our future child join him. We enjoy getting together with friends to socialize, but there is nothing better than staying in and watching a movie together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always known we both wanted to be fathers. When looking at our options, we knew adoption was the right path for us. Being biologically related does not make a family. Love is what makes a family, and we have enough love to give that our future child will never want nor worry. We want to provide a child with a loving and safe home that encourages them to be themselves and to thrive and meet their full potential as they grow. We also want to provide our future child with experiences such as traveling, different cultures, and activities that interest them. As parents, we want to instill a kind heart that accepts others for who they are just as our parents did for us.
Our Home
Our home is beautiful, warm, and inviting. Our house has three bedrooms and one and a half baths. Our basement is renovated with enough room to play. We live with our five-year-old calico cat, Callie. She is the most loving and playful cat we know. She is very social and is looking for a baby brother or sister she can curl up with. Near our house, there is a park with a playground and public pool. We live near young families with children who are always outside playing and riding bikes. We live in a highly rated school district and are close to many great shops, local restaurants, a large park, and wonderful beaches. In addition, there are multiple museums within half an hour from us. We plan on getting a golden retriever as we both grew up with golden retrievers. They are the most loving pets for a child to grow up with.
Our Family
We both come from large families. Our immediate families are close to where we live and are eager to love and support our child/children. Matt has an older sister and nine cousins, and Matthew has a younger brother and 16 cousins. Our families enjoy getting together and having game nights, cooking together, and celebrating holidays and birthdays. Matthew’s family has season tickets to the Packers and can attend home games whenever they want.
Both our families have lake houses less than two hours from where they live. Summers are spent with our extended families, which will allow our future child to learn how to water ski, wakeboard, tube, and swim. Matt’s family has an additional cabin up north where our child can be outdoors and learn to fish. There are different interests we all enjoy, including sports, academia, and music. Our future child will have someone in their family to support and teach them in their interests. There will always be someone around to spend time with, whether it’s building snowmen in the winter, gardening in the spring, swimming in the summer, or going to a pumpkin patch in the fall.
