Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

First and foremost, thank you for considering adoption, and thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. We can only imagine the complexity of emotions and decisions you are facing, and we hold the deepest appreciation for your personal strength, courage, and love.

We're Marcus and Michelle, and we have been married for 20 years. We are Christians, who love God and love others, and we have a dream of becoming parents. Our journey to adoption has been filled with patience, reflection, and, above all, hope. While we have not been able to have children biologically, we've come to see that adoption is not our second choice—it is our purposefully chosen path to parenthood.

We are thrilled about the future and about the chance to welcome a child into our lives to love, protect, and nurture. We promise to provide your baby with a life grounded in faith, filled with laughter, stability, opportunity, and unconditional love. We promise to honor your love and bravery every step of the way.

Whatever you decide, we hope you feel supported and respected. If you do choose us, please know that your baby will be cherished every single day.

With warm hearts and open arms,
Marcus & Michelle

Our Home

Home

We live in a warm, inviting townhome in the Pacific Northwest. It's a peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood where kids ride bikes on the sidewalks and neighbors greet each other by name. Our house has three bedrooms, a backyard for playing and gardening, and three balconies that are great for observing the sunrise, sunset, and fireworks over the city. We've already set aside a sunny room with soft curtains and plenty of space for a nursery, toys, and bedtime stories.

Our neighborhood is close to the very school that Marcus attended, beautiful parks, and nature trails. Boise, Idaho, where we were both raised, is a wonderful place to raise a child, and we're thrilled to share it with a child.

Our Family

Extended Family

We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a community of family and friends who are just as excited about our adoption journey as we are. Marcus comes from a close-knit family based mostly in the Midwest. Both of his parents, his sister and brother-in-law, and his niece are a big part of our lives, and we have already begun making plans and dreaming about our future life with a new addition to our family.

Michelle's family is just as loving, with her mom already picking out books and toys for story time with her future grandchild. This child will be surrounded by love from all sides of the family and will be met with joy and excitement.

Together, we truly value friends who have integrity and are rooted in strong character, and who have vitality and joy. We love spending time with people who are thoughtful, down-to-earth, and know how to have fun. Our church community has been a steady source of encouragement and joy, and many of our closest friends are adoptive families themselves.

Family traditions mean a lot to us, which means that there will be many summer cookouts, Sunday dinners, game nights, and times spent decorating the house together during the holidays—all filled with friends, games, music, and family.
