Dear Birthmother
You are more important to us than words could ever convey. While we can’t fully imagine the emotions and decisions you may be navigating right now, we deeply respect your strength and courage in considering adoption and admire the love and care you are showing for your child, no matter what you decide. If you were to choose us, we promise to give your child a life filled with unconditional love, attention, and every opportunity we can provide. Becoming parents has always been one of our greatest dreams, and we would never take that gift for granted. We are blessed with a close circle of loving family and friends, and we truly have the “village” ready to support, encourage, and surround your child with care. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us as part of your journey; whatever path you choose, we wish you strength, peace, and love.
Our Home
We live in Texas and recently moved into a larger home to make room for our ATVs and prepare to start a family. Our two-acre property gives us plenty of outdoor space, complete with a large pool perfect for warm Texas days. Our city is a wonderful place for families, offering endless opportunities for adventure, athletics, and academics, with camps, trade schools, and a vibrant downtown full of family-friendly activities. Nearby splash parks and walking trails make it easy to get outside, and our neighborhood feels like something out of a TV show, with kids riding bikes and families cruising in golf carts. We especially love Halloween and Christmas, when we go all out with decorations and join in the festive community spirit.
Our Family
Misty is the middle of three girls, and when she was five, her mom married her stepdad, who brought a son into the family. She grew up hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, snowboarding, and playing sports, while learning from her parents the importance of hard work and valuing people and belongings. Though her parents divorced when she was 18, Misty has remained especially close to her brother. All of her siblings have children, and she loves spoiling her nieces and nephews—especially on birthdays and at Christmas.
Martha is the oldest of three, with a sister who has two nephews and a baby niece. Her parents have been married for over 37 years, and most holidays are spent together since they live in the same town. She treasures their annual summer vacation and enjoys taking her nephews to carnivals, bowling, and the movies.
We are also blessed with many friends we consider family, and bringing home a child would be a blessing not only to us but to our entire community of loved ones.
