Dear Birthmother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We cannot even begin to understand what you’re going through and how you feel about considering this decision. No matter what, you know what’s best for you and your baby, and that’s what’s driving you. We are so grateful to you for considering us as the adoptive moms for your baby! All we’ve ever wanted is to be parents and to give a child love, security, and encouragement.

For several years now, there has been a hole in our hearts in the place we keep the love for a child. We’ve helped raise our nieces and nephews and helped take care of our friends’ kids, but we’ve always wanted children of our own.

Natalie can’t wait to teach your baby how to dribble a basketball and play flag football. Megan plans to teach your child German and Spanish, sing to them, and read all her favorite books aloud. We can’t wait to see if your baby chooses Natalie’s team (the Braves) or Megan’s (the Cardinals), but we already have the Cowboys jersey picked out!

We will support and respect you throughout this journey and promise to be open and flexible about how you are a part of your child’s life. This miraculous gift would not be possible without your selflessness, bravery, and faith. We are committed to this experience and will be forever grateful!

About Us

Twenty years ago Megan walked into her training shift at Dave & Buster’s and developed an instant crush on her trainer, Natalie. Though it would take 17 years for us to be in the same place in our lives, we remained friends through relationships, jobs, heartbreaks, and moves. In 2022 we had a beautiful wedding surrounded by our closest friends and family. Megan earned her CPA license in 2024 and works from home as a corporate controller. Natalie is a home health operations specialist but has always dreamed of being a stay-at-home mom. We spend a lot of time with our sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and parents, going to football games, recitals, and celebrations. Since we bought our house, we’ve enjoyed hosting friends and family for game nights, pool parties, and grilling. Megan loves to cook, and Natalie loves watching scary movies with Megan and laughing at her jumping.

What Led Us To Adoption

The one thing we’ve always known about ourselves is how much we want to be moms. Even before we ever tried to get pregnant, adoption was part of our family plan. Natalie is gentle, kind, patient, and loving with every child she meets. She never wanted to carry a child, so she knew adoption was her path to motherhood. Though Megan ultimately couldn’t get pregnant, she was just as excited about adoption. We have both dreamed of providing a loving home and a strong foundation for children, regardless of relation.

Our Home

Home

We live close to downtown in a Texas city. We can even see the fireworks on New Year’s Eve! Our beautiful zoo is only 15 minutes away, and there are a ton of festivals and farmers markets nearby. We live about three blocks from an elementary school, and we have several restaurants and parks just a bike ride away. Our neighborhood is over a century old and has a lot of character. Since we fenced in our front yard, our two dogs, Hermione (shih tzu) and Atticus (shorkie), have gotten to know the neighbors with us. We adopted our kitten, Cinder, in October of 2023, and we make sure to give our 15-year-old fluffy cat, Eleri, all the scratches.

Our Family

Extended Family

Between us, we have three sisters, three moms, one dad, five nieces, two nephews, and so many cousins we couldn’t possibly count them all! We live close to almost all of our extended family, so we get to spend a lot of time with them. We celebrate birthdays, achievements, and holidays together as a big group, and we go to the movies and have small dinners just because.

Natalie and her two sisters LOVE to shop Black Friday together! Even after Natalie had an injury and couldn’t walk, she still went shopping! Her scooter broke down in the middle of a store, and her sisters ran all over the place trying to find someone to help replace it.

Megan’s favorite part about Christmas is baking cookies with Natalie's family. Megan always makes sugar cookies in advance and brings icing and sprinkles for our nieces and nephews to decorate the cookies. Then she packs them up in pretty cookie tins and brings them to the family Christmas parties.
