Dear Birthmother
You are such a brave, strong, and thoughtful woman to consider adoption for your child. The bravery it takes to go through a pregnancy is so remarkable. We admire the strength of conviction you must have to make such a difficult decision. We want to work with you in whatever capacity you need as you and your child go through this journey. Together we can make a beautiful life for your baby.
We appreciate you so much for reading our profile and considering us as a family for your child. We want you to know you and your child are very much welcome and wanted in our lives. If you choose us, we will take every day and opportunity to make sure your child knows how much they are appreciated, loved, and supported. They will know they are our first and most precious priority.
We look forward to sharing our family traditions with them, seeing the world through their eyes, teaching them, and showing them the world. We also want to share things that are important to you for them to experience. No matter who they are, who they become, or the decisions they make, we will always be in their corner cheering for them. We will make sure they know they are every bit as brave, strong, and thoughtful as their mother is.
Our Home

We live in a five-bedroom, 3-bathroom single family home in Minnesota, where Lynn works from home. Behind our home is a trail, a park/playground, baseball field, tennis and basketball court. We have a large fenced backyard. There are a lot of children in the neighborhood, and we live only a few blocks away from family.
We have an eight year-old Rhodesian ridgeback named Murphy and a 1 year old black Lab named Bailey. Both dogs are gentle, sweet, and affectionate. We live in the small town where Lynn grew up, close to a lot of family, parks, lakes, and rivers. The town has a very small-town feel, where everyone knows everyone, yet is within an hour of Minneapolis and St. Paul. We participate in a lot of local community events, such as the rodeo, parades, community night out, and fairs.
Our Family

Lynn’s extended family is very large, with many half-siblings and step-siblings. Most of them have children of their own. Her family traditions involve big holidays, picnics, and road trips with caravans as many of us will travel together when we can. Some of our best family memories are of when we have rented a large vacation home or houseboat. Cooking together and playing canasta are a big part of the fun.
Scott has only one sister but many cousins. Although everyone is now spread across the country, they all enjoy getting together now and then and having a big family gathering. An important tradition in his family is family game night, where everyone and their friends get together to play board games.
