Dear Birthmother
Dear Expectant Mother,
The adoption process can be stressful and emotional, with lots of highs and lows, but we know any of those feelings we feel pale in comparison to what you are likely experiencing while reading this letter. We recognize and so greatly appreciate the time and consideration you are putting into your adoption plan; it is very hard to imagine how difficult of a decision you are making.
We know children are such an amazing gift, and we would be eternally grateful to you for helping add to our family. Growing our family and filling our hearts with love for a second child is something we both feel would complete our lives in a way nothing else can. We promise we will be the best parents we can be. We will love your child unconditionally while providing all opportunities possible, including travel, education, and experiences. Thank you for considering us.
Our Home

We purchased our home on a lake in the town where Scott owns his dance studio and have kept busy with DIY projects! Our spacious home is the hotspot for gatherings and is nestled between four family-friendly parks. After our daughter was born, we convinced Scott’s sister and parents to move here, so we are now sandwiched between them, each about a half mile away! The town we live in is not too big or small, which makes it feel cozy and friendly without missing out on restaurants, great school programs, or shopping. Between the lake, movie theater, and local festivals, there is never a dull moment! We also have two dogs: Berniece, a miniature dachshund, and Harold, a standard poodle. They are quite the pair to watch play and are also anxiously awaiting another brother or sister!
Our Family

Family is everything to both of us. Scott has four sisters he is very close to, and Micah has one brother. The arts have always been important in Scott’s family; everyone has played an instrument, participated in musicals, and competed in dance. Scott can’t wait to sing, dance, and make sock puppets with his own family!
Education has always been important in Micah’s family. Growing up, he and his brother were involved in extracurricular activities, which he believes provided a strong work ethic and real-world skills. He looks forward to encouraging his future family to reach their full potential and try new things.
Both of our families live very close to us and are excited to welcome a new grandchild, niece, or nephew! All future grandparents are ready to spoil and provide lots of love and snuggles.
