Dear Birthmother

We can only imagine the multitude of emotions you are facing right now, so first and foremost, we want you to know you are not alone. We are sending you positive, loving vibes through this letter. The decision you are facing cannot be easy, and we commend your immense strength and sacrifice. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to get to know you and support you through this trying time. If you choose us, we will unconditionally love your baby forever.

We have both dreamed of becoming parents and pray every day for the opportunity to share our enthusiasm for life with a little one. Should you choose us, your child will be our number one priority and surrounded by unlimited love and support. We will nurture them and allow them to grow into a creative, strong, smart, and courageous person in an environment where they can learn from their own mistakes and try new things until they find their passions. We are eternally grateful for you and your selflessness. Though we will never be able to truly understand the gravity of your choice, it is a blessing for us, and we will raise your baby with the same strength and bravery, never letting your act of selflessness be forgotten. We look forward to going through this process with you, offering our support in whatever way makes you comfortable and welcoming your baby into our home. Thank you for considering us.

Our Home

Home

We live in a beautiful town in northeastern Ohio, within walking distance of parks, lakes, and community centers. Our neighborhood itself is very diverse and close knit; many houses in our neighborhood have picnic chairs in their front yards so that, even during the pandemic, neighbors were able to socialize and spend time with one another. Every street is lined with sidewalks, which is wonderful for bike riding and strolls away from busy streets. The biggest attraction to us when we bought our home two years ago was the fenced-in yard with a swing set! Regarding furry family members, we adopted all three of our pets: a 13-year-old dachshund mix named Maizey, a 7-year-old corgi mix named Bentley, and a 3-year-old tabby cat named Einnie.

Our Family

Extended Family

We both come from big families who are very involved in our lives! Stephanie’s family includes two younger brothers (28 and 21), two parents who live 15 minutes away, three grandparents, four first cousins, six aunts and uncles, a newborn niece, more than ten (very close) second cousins, and countless family friends who have been considered family for generations. Dan’s family includes two brothers (28 and 25), two parents (one in Massachusetts and one in California), two grandparents, nine first cousins, six aunts and uncles, and several extended cousins we see as first cousins.

In addition to our actual family members, we also have several friends whom we are sure our little one will call “Aunt” and “Uncle.” Stephanie’s parents are not only geographically closer to us but they’re also very engaged in our daily lives. We all gather for family dinner at least once a weekend, and during football season, we usually watch football together as well, so our little one will always have family around!
