Dear Expectant Mother,
We would like to thank you for considering helping us start a family and considering entrusting us with this little piece of yourself. The wellbeing of your child is our top priority and responsibility and will be the driving force behind all of our parenting decisions. We believe in and support you with whatever level of connection you wish to have after adoption. We look forward to welcoming your child into our family and, if you wish, building a relationship with you as well. We have an enormous capacity for love and are just waiting for the right person to help us bring even more love and joy into this world.
We have been talking about adoption basically since the day we met and have been building our lives around the idea of raising a child someday. Should you choose us to raise this child, they will be well provided for, be surrounded by family and friends, have lots of pets, be exposed to the arts, and get a quality education. They will have two parents who will fiercely defend them and provide them the safety they need to grow, develop, and explore. They will be our number one priority.
We hope you find us interesting, thoughtful, fun, and loving—all the things we strive for in life. We also want you to feel as comfortable and safe as possible in this decision and are forever grateful for you considering us.

About Us
We are Xandii and Allie! We are an upbeat, creative, optimistic, and often very silly couple. Allie is a senior engineer who creates wholesome video games for teens and young adults. Xandii has a storied past as a stage manager, sound designer, production manager, and director in the local theater scene. The pandemic upended Xandii’s theater career but they have maintained their connections and are now a board member of a local theater company. During the summer, we enjoy spending time in our garden grilling food and playing fetch with our dog. Winter sees us drinking hot chocolate in front of our fireplace as we rewatch Netflix Christmas specials. We enjoy going to see the theater, particularly Shakespeare in the park, as well as visiting the zoo in the rain and playing video games together.
Our Home
We live in a lovely two-story home in a quiet neighborhood of a major city. Our home has colorful walls, lovingly displayed amateur original art, musical instruments, a wood-burning fireplace, and lots of love. We have a garden we love to spend time in (we call it our fairy garden) and a lovely deck with a BBQ grill. Next door is a greenbelt with a walking trail. At the end of our block, there is a community garden with events and free produce. Our street is frequented by kids on their bicycles and pet owners and their dogs. We love pets; we have two mischievous cats (Ringo and Momo), an adorable small dog (Merci), and our family snake, Keeren, who enjoys spending his days hiding under his rock in his terrarium.
